Humanitary law... does it actually practiced?

Basic rules of international humanitarian law in armed conflicts
The seven fundamental rules which are the basis of The Geneva Conventions and the Additional Protocols. This tex has been prepared for dissemination purposes and cannot in any circumstances serve as a substitute for the complete provisions of the international agreements - Extract from "Basic rules of the Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols"

*1 - Persons hors de combat and those who do not take a direct part in hostilities are entitled to respect for their
lives and their moral and physical integrity. They shall in all circumstances be protected and treated humanely
without any adverse distinction.


*2 - It is forbidden to kill or injure an enemy who surrenders or who is hors de combat.


*3 - The wounded and sick shall be collected and cared for by the party to the conflict which has them in its power.
Protection also covers medical personnel, establishments, transports and equipment. The emblem of the red
cross or the red crescent is the sign of such protection and must be respected.

*4 - Captured combatants and civilians under the authority of an adverse party are entitled to respect for their lives,dignity, personal rights and convictions. They shall be protected against all acts of violence and reprisals. They shall have the right to correspond with their families and to receive relief.


*5 - Everyone shall be entitled to benefit from fundamental judicial guarantees. No one shall be held responsible for an act he has not committed. No one shall be subjected to physical or mental torture, corporal punishment or cruel or degrading treatment.


*6 - Parties to a conflict and members of their armed forces do not have an unlimited choice of methods and means of warfare. It is prohibited to employ weapons or methods of warfare of a nature to cause unnecessary losses or excessive suffering.


*7 - Parties to a conflict shall at all times distinguish between the civilian population and combatants in order to
spare civilian population and property. Neither the civilian population as such nor civilian persons shall be the
object of attack. Attacks shall be directed solely against military objectives.

MMU love our money...

y? mmu is money making university... :))

but this got no relation with what i am going to write... welll might have a lil...

mmu can just bar us for the fun of it... and i need to spend more than 1 and half hour lining up... with only around 15 person in front of me! but it does take so long to reach my turn... and... they just... keyed in the ID number, then... oh... okay... done.... WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Items of Everyday Life

i came across a paper that i stick on the side of my cupboard... it's there since the day i shifted into this house...

it's something like this :

2) Rubberband - to remind you to be flexible, things might not always go the way u want, but it will work out.

3) Band Aid - to remind you to heal hurt feelings, your's or someone else's.

4) Pencil - to remind you to list blessing everyday.

5) Eraser - to remind you that everyone makes mistakes, and it's OK.

6) Chewing Gum - to remind you to stick with it, and u can accomplish anything.

7) Candy Kiss - to remind you that everyone needs a kiss or a hug everyday.

8) Tea Bag - to remind you to relax daily and go over that list of blessings.

after a whole long day of work and flu...

*hah... chewwwwwwwwww*

was havin this terrible flu since morning... it's like burst paip...
then had to stay late to finish off some work as there is no one free to finish the job needed by supervisor... worked from 9.30am till 11.45pm...

but still not the longesst hour i worked b4... record time is 8.30am till 5.30am...

time to rest...

dAy AfTeR YeStErDaY...

*phew*... my throat is killing me today... woke up this morning with a very painful throat and red and sore eye...

must be the hot and spicy food i ate yesterday... Secret Recipe's TomYam Kung noodle for lunch... then went back home for curry fish head at dinner...

*cough cough*

now... i am freezing inside the office... the air cond is killing me!... and flu is making me dizzy too.... 8-}
