i got this story from a forwarded email from a secondary school friend..
it goes like this...
The Mayonnaise Jar
A professor stood before his philosophy class
And had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.
He then asked the students again
If the jar was full... They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand
And poured it into the jar.. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded
With an un ani mous 'yes.'
The professor then produced Two cups of coffee from under the table
And poured the entire contents Into the jar, effectively
Filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.
'Now,' said the professor, As the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life..
The golf balls are the important things - God, family,
children, health, friends, and favorite passions –
Things that if everything else was lost
And only they remained, your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter Like your job, house, and car.
The sand is everything else --
The small stuff.
'If you put the sand into the jar first,' He continued,
'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life..
If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are
Important to you.
Pay attention to the things That are critical to your happiness.
Playwith your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.
There will always be time
To clean the house and fix the disposal.
'Take care of the golf balls first --
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'
One of the students raised her hand
And inquired what the coffee represented.
The professor smiled.
'I'm glad you asked'.
It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend!
When things in your life seem, Almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

there was once.. an old man told me.. fear happens because we do not have the confidence or we do not trust on certain things...
so to overcome it, we got to find a trusting point... we gotta find something that we can rely on...
this doesn't mean that we are not independent.. but it's just more like a supportive force for us to push ourself forward and further...
this force can be very powerful.. it can bring us miles and to wonderful places...
but the fear can haunt us deeply.. it can cause us our courage.. without confirmation and also feedback, we are feeling the torture in our already terrified soul.
sometimes, it's not that we do not have trust.. but we are fearful that our feeling might be wrong.. especially there are no obvious feedback on the previous action done..
it will be wonderful if there are certain amount of confirmation.. this will able to calm the fearful heart... this will provide us the courage to go further miles

it would be the worst dream that you will ever dream of... dreaming of awoken from sleep and seeing someone.. a stranger standing in front of you... looking upon u...
i could not imagine anymore.. anymore thief/robbers that breaks in.. into the hse of a person that i care about..
what had happened to my hse several months ago..
it's truly devastating.. damaging.. not only financially but also emotionally...
for the bare minimum, when you are at home, please lock up your doors and window grills...
and lock up your room door when you are sleeping...
this will be the bare minimum protection...
it's just a dream.. just a bad dreammmmm....

there is a kind of present..
which can't be bought by pounds and penny...
which is not solid enough to hold...
it comes spontaneously...
and it just came with it's needed the most...
a simple gesture is all it needs...
a phone call...
an invitation for dinner...
or just for a short chat...
might just happened to be the best present..
*aud & winnie... thanks girls for effort running about to look for me and the dinner invitation... ;)*
*thanks C for the call... when i least expect it... u sounded tired.. take good rest... *

On last sunday.. together with some friends went hiking to broga hill... aka bukit full of lalang
a green green hill where it looks like u can "kush kush ko ta hei" up there
Broga hill is located at Semenyih... gotta pass by University of Nottingham.. then drive up another KM, we will arrive at a Rabbit Farm... then opposite there is a oil palm plantation.. that's where we parked our cars and start the hike...
we were supposed to meet up barney and gang at University of Nottingham at ard 645am.. but due to some delay.. we arrived slightly later than expected...
we then drove to the entrance of Broga Hill without further ado.. we gotta hike along the oil palm plantation, then a lil of jungle route before we could see the beautiful greenery of Broga Hill...
the place is pretty slippery esp after rain... so it's advisable to bring along a hiking pole for betta support...
there are 3 peaks at Broga Hill... first n 2nd peak is easy to reach... [2nd peak is the one with Malaysia flag planted]... but the 3rd peak, it's slope is pretty slippery and not so easy to reach... but it's nice to reach there..
Have fun hiking~
